Funfair – Tivoli Seiterä

Whether you fancy a carousel ride or wish to win a teddy for your sweetheart, Tivoli Seiterä is for you.  To many, this funfair is an essential part of their yearly Meripäivät experience.  Tivoli Seiterä offers a variety of amusement rides and games and it welcomes all festivalgoers.  The funfair is located next to the Maritime Centre Vellamo.

 

Meripäiväkarting

Ready for a race? Go Karting is located in the middle of Meripäivät area in Kantasatama near the funfair.

Go Karting is open from Thursday to Sunday.

Opening hours:

Thursday from 19:00 onwards

Friday & Saturday from 12:00

Sunday 12:00 – 16:00

Bungee jumping

Bungee jumping is situated next to Go Karting -area (Meripäiväkarting) in Kantasatama.

Open on festival days from 14:00 onwards

MERIPÄIVÄT MARKET

Probably the most visible thing at Meripäivät is the sight of multiple market stalls spreading around Kantasatama.  Whether you are looking for souvenirs, a bite to eat or something fun to wear, you are likely to find it in one of the many stalls.

 

BARS & RESTAURANTS

Hungry, thirsty or fancy a sweet treat?  Not a problem.  There are multiple restaurants, bars, food trucks and cafés with a large range of delicious foods and drinks to choose from.  If you can’t agree on where to eat with your festival crew, then you may find it easier to enjoy your meal at Ruokatori (food market) where you can all get the food you want from the stall you want and still share a table and stories together.

THE INTERNATIONAL KOTKA WOODEN BOAT FAIR 24.7-27.7.2019

Around 140 wooden boats, lectures, presentations, food and much more!  The fair is held at the Wooden Boat Centre in Kantasatama (Tornatorintie 15).

Thursday 10:00-22:00

Friday10:00-20:00

Saturday 10:00-20:00

Admission fee:

Adults (15 years+) €10 (valid for 4 days)

Children under 15 years for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
